So apparently i'm back to the blogosphere,
I dedicate this blog to my long gone thought that has never been used for quite a long time.
And I also dedicate this blog to my whole bunch of shoes lying in my closet.
Why do I call this blog "In Shoes We Trust" ? So here the story goes:
I have such a huge feet for Asian woman size. My size is 41, and most of the department stores or shoe stores only have 40 the biggest. There was this one time when I literally cried in a mall. I was looking for a pair of shoes because my previous pair is already broken, and the only pair fitted me made me look like a clown.
So I started "collecting" shoes. This collecting scheme is not the usual collecting concept. Because actually, I just bought any shoes which fit my size and my wallet -never really thought about the style, as long as they fit-, hoard them, and wear them one by one. I would wear one on and on and on, and when it wears off, I'll wear my other pair. This is actually because the whole crying-in-a-shoe-store thing is so traumatizing.
Then in the end of year 2009, I was introduced to a shoe-smith. He changed my life forever! No more stressing out! Then after months of making my shoes, some of my friends asked me where I got my shoes from. This rang a bell. I, who was freshly graduated from university, and super confused of what business I was going to run, decided to make this unfortunate condition of my feet as a money machine. And there you go, I live from shoes now. It raises me up :)
Then I started to believe that there is always opportunities behind everything, it just a matter of us finding it, and trusting it. And I'm asking you to find and trust them too. Indeed, in shoes we trust.
